El recorrido cómic en Bruselas comenzó en 1991 para responder de forma original a problemas de rehabilitación de algunos muros dejados sin mantenimiento y en mal estado. La idea de integrar obras y homenajes a los artistas del cómic ha resultado en un recorrido que ya cuenta con 38 murales.
